This makes that old budget build unviable outside of classic because that simple classic gear would no longer give the character maxed resistances in Hell difficulty in Diablo II LOD (Resurrected). The terms have changed a bit, because no one (sorry classic players) plays Diablo II classic anymore. I decided to attempt to recreate this budget build for fun and because I have been seeing a fair amount of criticism around this game and the pressure to find BiS(a term I've only recently begun seeing in relation to Diablo II) gear for end-game builds and how this causes more frustration for the new player of Diablo II than it does enjoyability. because those are what one is limited to in classic D2 anyway. What I *can* remember is that it used Darkglow armor, a partial set, and Shard. until I found that *one* budget hammerdin build that no longer exists on the internet, but changed my fortune forever. I remember it, because I was a perpetually poor noob with no hope of ever changing that. I recall that I once found a hammerdin (Blessed Hammer paladin) build back in Diablo II v1.10b, when I still played classic, that was geared with nothing but normal set and unique items and could effectively run CS and Diablo in a full party.
